19th Interantional Syposium on District Heating and Cooling

This week, our team had the pleasure of participating in the 19th International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling in Genk, Belgium.
Thanks to EnergyVille, VITO and IEA DHC for hosting such a well-organized and inspiring event.

Katharina Rusch shared results from the HeatHighway project in her presentation on “Economic evaluation of a heat highway between existing district heating networks”.

Robert Müllehner contributed insights from the IEA DHC AnnexTS7 (Industry-DHC Symbiosis: A systemic approach for highly integrated industrial and thermal energy systems), with his talk on “Future Proof Business Models”.

Magdalena Pflügl presented a poster with results from the RePeak project, titled “Decarbonizing Peak Heat Load in District Heating: Current Practices and Future Renewable Strategies”.
