A stakeholder workshop on CCUS in industry was held at the Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna on 4 November as part of IEA IETS Task 21.
The event was organised ahead of the Circular Carbon Economy Summit.
More than 25 experts from industry, research and administration came together to exchange ideas.
Topics covered included strategy and policy, ongoing CCUS activities, research requirements, legal and political framework conditions, the technological classification of CCUS, and practical examples.
Working groups focusing on the topics of ‘Stakeholders’ and ‘CCUS Value Chain’ held intensive discussions and created opportunities for networking.
