The Energie AG organised its Innovation Challenge for the second time this year. 318 start-ups from 52 countries applied to support Energie AG OÖ with their innovative developments in solving future issues. Our scientific director of the Department of Energy Economics Johannes Reichl supported the selection of the winners for the challenge on how to maximise added value for customers using their electricity consumption data.
As a member of the jury, he and the Energieinstitut congratulate the winner, Watt Intelligent Solutions, which aims to use AI-based analytics to help households better understand the power consumption of individual appliances and predict the cost-effectiveness of replacing them.
