Our colleagues, Hannah Aster & Lukas Zeilerbauer had the privilege of attending LCM 2025 – the 12th International Conference on Life Cycle Management – in Palermo from 9–12 September 2025!
This year’s theme, “Global to Local”, provided an inspiring platform to explore how life cycle approaches can be translated into real, impactful actions across different regions, political systems, socio-economic settings, and professional spheres. This year’s LCM was the largest edition in history with over 1,000 participants attending the conference in Palermo.
Hannah Aster presented a Poster with insights from FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH-funded project NeoBlade on the status quo of delivery drones’ LCA results.
Lukas Zeilerbauer also had a poster presentation from the Upper Austrian research project Folienkreisklauf2030 which explored the environmental implications of the local collection systems for plastic waste and its subsequent conversion.
Bringing home new insights and ideas from the wide variety of sessions & talks, as well as personal connections we are already thrilled for the next edition in Helsinki 2027.
