ENTRY AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
Austria is part of the Schengen Area. Citizens of EU member states, European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland do not require a visa to enter Austria. Depending on their nationality, participants from other countries may need a visa.
Please check the current entry and visa requirements well in advance on the official website of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs or with the responsible Austrian embassy or consulate in your country.
Letter of Invitation
If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, please send us an email at ieadhc2027@energieinstitut-linz.at after completing your registration.
We will send you a letter confirming your registration for the symposium. Please note that visa applications are handled by the responsible authorities and an invitation letter does not guarantee that a visa will be issued.
