IEA networking event: Climate-Friendly Industry

The IEA’s annual network meeting ‘Climate-friendly industry: Research and Development for the Industry of the Future’ this week focused on the decarbonisation of the industrial sector. The event is an important meeting point for the Austrian IEA community and promotes dialogue on forward-looking technologies and methods.

The Energieinstitut an der JKU presented following research projects:

🔹Task Manager Simon Moser gave an exciting insight into the IETS Task 21 – Circular Carbon: How decarbonising industrial systems paves the way to a sustainable future.

🔹ZEUS – Zero Emissions throUh Sectorcoupling was presented by Andreas Zauner together with Alexandra Kogler. The project shows how intelligent sector coupling can contribute to reducing emissions in industry.

🔹IETS Task 19: Empowering Industry – Building a Global Network for Industrial Electrification, led by the Energieinstitut an der JKU, was also presented.
