On 4th June, our colleague Johannes Reichl gave his inaugural lecture at the Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) Future Energy Lab at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. In his lecture entitled “The Energy Transition – Type and Magnitude of the (real) Challenges”, he presented the central challenges of the energy transition and outlined possible paths into the future. In doing so, he addressed the technical, economic and social aspects that are necessary for a successful energy transition.
His inaugural lecture was an inspiring start to many exciting projects and collaborations that will contribute to the sustainable design of our energy system. The presence of numerous experts and students from various disciplines emphasised the importance of this topic and demonstrated the great interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
We are proud of our scientific director and look forward to the future innovations and findings that will emerge from his work. Congratulations and good luck with further research and implementation of these important topics!
