The kick-off meeting of the EU project ENERGIZE Industrial Energy Communities took place at DFactory Barcelona from July 3rd to 4th! The Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz was represented as a project partner by Sebastian Goers and Anja Gahleitner.
The aim of the project is to demonstrate the feasibility of creating industrial renewable energy communities in selected industrial regions of the EU. Our contribution to the project includes an analysis of existing regional initiatives for cooperation between cities and industrial parks in the energy sector. We will also provide insights on industrial parks and energy communities from Upper Austria.
Together with our project partners IRIS Technology Solutions | Three o’clock | ESTRATS CONSULTORIA ESTRATÈGICA SL | EnGreen | Símbiosy | FEDARENE | ICAEN | EAZK, we are happy to be part of this exciting project and to work on further developing industrial energy communities over the next three years.
