The ADJUST project is concerned with the fair design of climate and energy policy in Austria. The aim is to avoid social inequalities, in particular to better include disadvantaged groups such as low-income households. To this end, the effects of current and planned measures such as CO₂ taxes, energy poverty or participation in energy communities are examined and policy recommendations for a solidary and inclusive energy transition are developed together with stakeholders.
