ReduzAb

CO2-Emissionen REDUZieren durch ABwärme

Project Description

The focus of the ReduzAb project is the development of a criteria catalog for the use and recognition of waste heat from various sources. In this project, an initial proposal for criteria (referred to as an “Enabling Framework”) for the use and recognition of waste heat is being developed with the goal of long-term CO2 emission reduction.
By formulating criteria for the external use of waste heat, the project aims to enable the most effective utilization of this resource, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas and other emissions, as well as mitigating additional negative environmental impacts associated with energy production.
The project identifies obstacles and barriers in the testing and implementation of waste heat utilization opportunities and works with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions. Starting with the Austrian market, this initiative seeks to create sustainable opportunities for waste heat utilization and integration on an international level.
