Project Description

The project analyses blockchain technology in the context of renewable electric feed-in and flexibility in the innovation laboratory “Energie Innovation Cluster Südburgenland”. The aim is to explore new and efficient solutions for energy management services and energy trading. Innovative blockchain-based methods for maximising photovoltaic self-consumption at building, neighbourhood and regional level are being developed. Together with the partners of the innovation lab, an ecosystem is to be created in which demanders and providers of energy services can develop and test new solutions for PV power self-optimisation at the multi-family house or community level in co-creation processes.
