maxE

Ladeinfrastruktur für maximale Elektrifizierung auf Baustellen

Project Description

The maxE project aims to develop and demonstrate a solution for electrical energy supply and storage for large-scale construction sites powered by battery-electric vehicles and machinery. The project will include the development and testing of a buffer storage solution optimized for high-power output and energy storage infrastructure, as well as the adaptation and optimization of charging infrastructure. The project’s innovative approach will contribute to more sustainability in the whole supply chain and have significant impacts on environmental, social, and economical aspects related to the development of new mobility infrastructures.

The results of the project should be replicable for other large-scale consumers with similar requirements, not just in urban spaces, and will develop business models for the installation and operation of buffer batteries for construction sites and related sectors. This will affect the transformational change in the mindset of construction business operations and their suppliers towards more sustainable practices.
