The goal of OPTISOCHEM is to demonstrate the performance, reliability and environmental as well as socio-economic sustainability of the entire value chain from the conversion of surplus straw into bio-isobutene to two final chemical product platforms (oligomers, polyisobutylenes). The Energieinstitut is working to optimize the sustainability performance of the entire value chain.
