The project aims to address the legal and regulatory framework conditions of long-term energy storage. For this purpose, different variants of regulatory implementations of an extended implementation of seasonal storage services will be developed and evaluated. Based on the analyses carried out, policy recommendations for the further development of the current framework conditions will be elaborated, which will enable the development of system-serving storage services.
