In San Sebastián, the Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TECNALIA Research & Innovation, the largest private applied research and technology organisation in Southern Europe. This marks an important step in expanding our international research cooperation as part of our scientific energy delegation trip to the Basque Country.
With around 1,500 researchers, TECNALIA is one of Europe’s leading innovation partners – particularly in the fields of energy storage and industrial transformation. The agreement was signed at TECNALIA’s headquarters together with CEO Jesús Valero and marks the beginning of a closer collaboration.
Our shared goal: to jointly advance innovative solutions for the energy future – from hydrogen technologies to industrial applications.
The scientific energy trip, organised by the Energieinstitut in cooperation with Energie AG Oberösterreich, once again demonstrated the value of international partnerships for the transformation of our energy system.
We look forward to the next steps together!
