Helene Mihatsch graduated from the Leopold Franzens University of Innsbruck in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences. After gaining work experience at a hydraulic engineering consultancy firm, she studied ‘Science and Technology of Materials’ at the University of Salzburg and the Technical University of Munich, obtaining her Master’s degree in 2024. Her master’s thesis focused on solid-state electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. Until 2025, she worked in research and development for lithium-ion batteries at a start-up. She will be supporting the Department for Energy Technology at the Energy Institute.
