Mag.a Katrin Burgstaller

Junior Researcher

Katrin Burgstaller studied law at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, specialising in state, society and politics. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Institute of Constitutional Law and Political Science. She finished her studies in the middle of 2020 and started working at the Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz. As a junior researcher she complements the team of the Energy Law Department.

Her research interests include legal and regulatory aspects of the electricity market, energy communities, blockchain, data privacy and flow of energy data, data protection, energy efficiency, energy storage and guarantees of origin.
