Mario Reisinger studied Industrial Economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and was working in Spain and Austria in the energy sector and regulatory authorities. Mario was part of the Energy intervention group at E-Control and played an active part in designing ordinances for Market Monitoring, Statistics and the Energy Intervention Act for Power and Gas. He gained further international experience working as an expert in EU Twinning Projects in Georgia and the Eastern Partnership Programme. His fields of work at the Energy Institute of the Johannes Kepler University in Linz currently include regulation topics in the energy sector and macroeconomic simulation analyses.
