Raphael Gottweis completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). He is currently enrolled in the PhD programme in Economics at WU, supervised by Prof. Esther Arenas Arroyo and Prof. Melis Kartal. His professional career has taken him to the Institut für Höhere Studien (IHS), among others. Since June 2025, he has been working as a junior researcher at the Energy Institute at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and supports the Department of Energy Economics in the empirical analysis of energy behaviour and sustainability
