On July 8, our colleague Michael Denk visited the Energy Research Institute of the Shandong Academy of Sciences (SDAS) in Jinan, China.
During his stay, he gave a presentation on “The AI Power Paradox”, in which he highlighted the potential and challenges of the application of artificial intelligence in the energy system and the associated legal issues.
In addition to exciting discussions about the role of AI in the energy transition, the program also included a visit to the research labs and a start-up company supported by the institute.
The Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz is happy about the scientific exchange with the Energy Research Institute of Shandong as part of RLS-Sciences and the RLS-Energy Network. We see this meeting as a valuable starting point for possible cooperation in the field of sustainable energy systems.
