The Energy Institute at JKU Linz took part in the 20th Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) in Dubrovnik – a city well known to Game of Thrones fans.
In this impressive setting, our researchers presented new insights into the future of sustainable energy systems:
- Hans Böhm demonstrated how the energy transition can succeed within Austrian industry and explored the economic impacts of achieving sectoral climate neutrality.
- Benjamin Kirchler presented initial results from a large-scale field experiment on demand response in Upper Austria.
