Dr.in Karin Fazeni-Fraisl
Senior Researcher
After graduating from the Grammar School Honauerstraße Linz (Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium) with an emphasis in science, Ms. Fazeni continued her education and received a master’s degree in Social Economics from the Johannes Kepler University Linz in 2010. Her master’s thesis focused on Environmental Management in Companies and Regions. From October 2007 to December 2010, Karin Fazeni-Fraisl served as a project assistant at the Energieinstitut an der Johannes Kepler Universität. Since December 2010 she serves as junior researcher on projects at the Energy Economics Department and has been writing her doctorate dissertation on the application of LCA methodologies to the early stages of biorefinery process design. Since 2019, Fr. Fazeni-Fraisl is Senior Researcher. Her research focuses on conducting environmental life cycle analysis in the early stages of technology development and qualitative socio-technical analysis.
