Mario Reisinger BA MU

Mario Reisinger studied Industrial Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He graduated with honours, specializing in industrial economics, regulation and competition policy with a specialization in energy, transport and telecommunication economics. During and after his studies, Mr. Reisinger worked as an assistant at one of the main companies for electricity and gas, Iberdrola in Madrid and for the National Competition Authority Spain. In Austria, Mr. Reisinger worked as a consultant for energy data management systems, as a research associate at the Industrial Economics Institute and for the Austrian Regulation and Competition Authority for Electricity and Gas E-Control. His tasks ranged from developing key energy statistics, being an active member of the energy intervention group at E-Control, to playing an active part in the design of ordinances for Market Monitoring, Statistics and the Energy Intervention Act. Besides his academic and professional experience in Spain he gained further international experience working as an expert in EU Twinning Projects in Georgia and the Eastern Partnership Programme. His field of work at the Energieinstitut an der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz covers regulations that apply to the energy sector and energy communities.
