Transforming the energy system by applied energy research
Energieinstitut an der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz
The Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz is a non-university research institution with a multidisciplinary structure. Every year, in about 100 R&D projects, we deal with the further development of an energy system that positively influences living, economic and environmental spaces, strengthens European economies and reduces fossil energy sources as far as possible.
The inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation of our three departments – energy economics, energy law, energy technology – enables a comprehensive and interdisciplinary holistic analysis of the (future) topic of energy.
