INNOnet project kickoff

Our INNOnet project got off to a successful start: At the kickoff, innovative, performance-based electricity tariff models were discussed, which we will test in three large-scale demos in Austria.

The aim of the project is to investigate how households can be motivated to avoid peak loads and increasingly use locally generated electricity in order to reduce future grid expansion measures.

The INNOnet project is funded by the FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH (Energie.Frei.Raum 2. Ausschreibung). The project consortium consists of: AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, Energy Institute at JKU Linz, Netz Oberösterreich GmbH, LINZ NETZ GmbH, Energienetze Steiermark GmbH, HAKOM Time Series, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, clever-PV GmbH, Siemens, tounify GmbH.

Many thanks to all participants for the lively discussions!
