Our colleague Gabriela Jauschnik attended the 9th Smart Energy Systems Conference in Copenhagen recently and gained new insights for our further research!
In the course of the conference, the Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz attended the DHC+ Assembly, as we are now officially part of the district heating and cooling community! We introduced our organisation and our research activities to the international members.
At the special conference session of IEA DHC Annex TS7 about industry-DHC symbiosis, we had the opportunity to present insights on effective business models and project initiation regarding industrial waste heat cooperations. Synergy effects and potentials resulting from sector coupling of industry and thermal energy networks were further elaborated during a workshop.
