Michael Mayrhofer has been scientific head of the Energy Law Department since January 2020. He is a university professor of public law, a member of the Constitutional Court and Dean of the Faculty of Law at JKU. He is also head of the Institute for Administrative Law and Administrative Doctrine, the Department of Technology Law at JKU Linz and the Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) Law Lab. His research focus is on European public law, administrative jurisdiction, electoral law, energy and technology law, and medical law.
