Regina Aufreiter has been working as a Project Advisor for cooperative European funding projects in the Energy Economics Department since May 2021. After graduating in economics from JKU Linz, Ms. Aufreiter was able to build up project management skills in European RTI programmes (CIP – Intelligent Energy Europe) in the energy and environmental sector for more than 6 years. In addition, she has many years of experience in funding management of funding programmes in the European Research Area (including European Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation such as Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe) for the implementation of projects for research and development of innovative products and services with a thematic focus on energy, transport and SMEs (Key Account Manager for EIC Accelerator projects).
