The weather-dependent fluctuation of PV production is a major challenge for end users, electricity suppliers and distribution network operators. The acquisition of additional data as well as their linking / fusion with existing data can generate a considerable benefit. The combination of data from Sky Cams, existing PV systems, data from weather stations and satellites can improve both the methods and the results of short-term forecasts. This can support the sensitivity of the actors and reduce costs. The quality of the data collection as well as the fusion of different data are developed in the project, the potential users are identified and the economic value of newly developed of business models is quantified.
