Why participate? Industrial Symbiosis (IS) plays a crucial role in reducing emissions, increasing energy and material efficiency and driving forward a circular economy.
What can you expect? The online workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from the experience of the CORALIS project. CORALIS, supported by the European Union as part of the PPP-Processes4Planet Partnership, will report in detail on the implementation of industrial symbioses.
Highlights: Our Key Researcher of the Energy Technology Department Johannes Lindorfer will present the evaluation activities of industrial symbiosis of the so-called Follower Cases:
– Linz (AT) – Renewable hydrogen at the chemical and steel site
– Basauri (ES) – Waste heat recovery in a steel mill
– Izmit (TR) – Reuse of waste liquor from a refinery
Members of the CORALIS consortium will report extensively on two industrial demonstrators and give an outlook on future implementations.
