As part of the maxE project – charging infrastructure for maximum electrification on construction sites – we had the exciting opportunity to experience the use of battery-electric construction machinery and equipment and its charging infrastructure, the VOLTstation, live in action during a construction site tour.
The direct exchange with the users provided us with valuable insights and findings that help us to identify existing barriers as well as opportunities in order to further advance the transformation to a CO2-neutral energy system.
