Energy and CO2 savings through carbon circularity, and resource and energy efficiency through industrial symbiosis are two approaches to decarbonizing industry. The subtask “Carbon Capture” considers the technical integration of CCU into industrial systems and their assessment in the LCA. The subtask “Industrial Symbiosis” examines how industrial symbiosis can be initiated and which business models are suitable for its implementation. Subtasks 1, 2 and 3 on these topics were previously carried out.
