NeoBlade

Sustainable development, optimisation methods and construction methods for noise-optimised drone propeller blades

Project Description

The civil and commercial use of unmanned aerial vehicles and drones promises to be relevant for societal benefit in a variety of life areas in the future, ranging from search and rescue operations to everyday applications in agriculture and last-mile logistics. With such a steeply growing presence, a sustainable product lifecycle and societal acceptance are key factors for the success of this technology. This project focuses on the development of drone propellers, with a primary emphasis on effectively reducing emitted noise, ensuring the highest safety and efficiency during operation, and promoting energy- and resource-efficient production.
