Currently, there is a strong global trend on the implementation of DC (micro) grids, electric vehicles, etc.. Therefore, Peter Zeller visited the company Mersen in Lyon, France, who develops and produces among a wide range of products for all kind of electric systems, high power and high voltage melting wire fuses at their site in Lyon. Mersen has impressing test facilities and ongoing R&D activities. Peter Zeller at the Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz will contribute with his expertise and support to develop new products.
