The study focuses on the interaction between electric mobility in road transport (cars, buses, trucks) and the power grid. The study determines the current technological status of the different V2X- and smart charging applications and assess their potential for the rapid roll-out of charging infrastructures. It highlights hurdles and potential synergies for stakeholders and works with stakeholders to develop solutions and recommendations. The current legal and regulatory implementation of these framework conditions will be analysed against the backdrop of the ramp-up of electric mobility and increasing demands on the power grid. This is the bases for suggestions on further legal and regulatory adaptations.
