Giulia Garzon MSc

Junior Researcher

Giulia Garzon studied International Relations at the University of Trento (Italy) for her Bachelor’s degree and completed an Erasmus semester at the University of Regensburg (Germany). She continued her Master’s studies in Germany at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, where she obtained her degree in Environmental Governance in September 2022. For her master thesis, she conducted a field study on Climate Change Adaptation of the Tourism Sector in Trentino-South Tyrol. Since October 2022, she has been employed as a Junior Researcher at the Energy Institute in the Department of Energy Economics and has been working on a variety of national and Horizon projects. Her research interests lie in the area of energy attitudes and behaviours from different theoretical perspectives, with a particular focus on households’ energy responses to different incentives. In her work, she applies mainly quantitative methods, taking into account gender and diversity perspectives.
