Giulia Garzon holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg and is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Programme in Socioeconomics at JKU. Since October 2022, she has been employed as a Junior Researcher in the Department of Energy Economics at the Energy Institute, where she has contributed to a range of national and Horizon projects. Her research examines energy-related attitudes and behaviours from different theoretical perspectives, with a particular focus on how households respond to incentives and engage in flexible energy use. Methodologically, she primarily applies quantitative approaches, including economic modelling, empirical social science methods, and policy analysis, while incorporating gender and energy justice perspectives.
